CONTRACTOR: TECHNIPFMC | LOCATION: EGYPT

  • Overseeing welding and NDT inspection activities for subsea and onshore LNG facilities in compliance with TotalEnergies and TechnipFMC quality standards.

  • Ensuring adherence to project specifications, ITPs, and international codes for fabrication, testing, and quality assurance of critical components.

  • Supporting development and quality control of pipelines, subsea systems, and LNG processing infrastructure under the Anadarko Mozambique Area 1 (AMA1) field development.

  • Contributing to TotalEnergies’ flagship LNG expansion by ensuring the integrity, safety, and reliability of welding and NDT operations within multi-disciplinary teams.

PROJECT: KOC FEED PIPELINES FOR NEW REFINERY PROJECT (ZOUR REFINERY)

  • Directed QA/QC activities for fabrication, welding, and NDT across crude feed, fuel gas, and product transfer pipelines supporting KIPIC’s Zour Refinery.

  • Reviewed and approved critical project documentation including WPS/PQR, ITPs, NDT procedures, fabrication drawings, and NCR/CAR reports.

  • Supervised welding, PWHT, visual inspections, and welder qualification testing to ensure compliance with project and international standards.

  • Monitored NDT operations (RT, PT, MT, UT), performed radiographic interpretation, and managed isometric control for weld identification and modifications.

PROJECT: AL-ZOUR REFINERY PROJECT – SUBSEA PIPELINES INSTALLATION (UNIT 93)

  • Served as PMC representative overseeing offshore pipeline laydown and subsea installation activities for KIPIC’s world-class Al-Zour Refinery Project.

  • Supervised pipeline routing, laying operations, and offshore tie-ins ensuring compliance with project specifications and marine construction standards.

  • Coordinated with EPC contractors and marine teams to ensure safe and precise installation of subsea pipelines from shore to Sea Island terminal.

  • Monitored offshore construction progress, alignment control, and QA/QC compliance for subsea and onshore interface sections.

  • Contributed to the successful installation of marine pipelines supplying liquid products to a Sea Island facility 17.5 km offshore at a depth of 20 meters.

PROJECT: SOUTH CAUCASUS PIPELINE EXPANSION (SCPX) PROJECT

  • Supervised and coordinated pipeline hydrotesting and pre-commissioning activities across multiple sites in Georgia and Azerbaijan for BP’s SCPX project.

  • Developed and implemented detailed hydrostatic testing plans ensuring full compliance with project and safety standards.

  • Oversaw key pre-commissioning operations including pipeline cleaning, gauging, hydrotesting, dewatering, and drying to ensure system integrity and readiness.
